NO HOT ASHES

COOL CAT

REVIEW

Cool Cat is the fantastic new single from Stockport based indie/funk band

No Hot Ashes  which was released by Playing with Sound recently.

As you may have gathered i have a soft spot for this band and it is with very good reason.

Not only do the band produce some of the best Indie/Funk music around today, but they also keep pushing themselves and their music to a higher level with each new track they release.

No Hot Ashes 'Cool Cat' Cover

Cool Cat has yet again push that bar up several more notches! I’m sat here wandering how they are going to eclipse Cool Cat with their next track.

But knowing how hard working and dedicated to their music the lads are, and having a great team behind them including one of the best producer’s in the business Gavin Monaghan adding his touch of magic they will and continue to do so for a very long time.

Cool Cat is an all out assault on your musical senses! It is filled to the brim with funk and swagger, the added brass section sends the track sawing to new heights, lyrically it is sublime and sets scenes that places images in your head. How they manage to add such lyrics as ‘Tesco Express’ ‘Gaviscon’ and ‘Wythenshawe’ is just pure genius!

Check out the track below and get some of Stockport’s finest indie/funk in your life!

YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

It is going to be a busy summer for the lads with loads of festival appearances and one off gigs, make sure you get and see these lads before they hit the big time….which wont be long on the back of the stunning Cool Cat.

You can download (recommended) or stream Cool Cat now! If you are very quick you can pick up a copy and a rather stylish t-shirt from the bands website now.
